My little guy has been very busy today.
He has discovered how to open several doors.
And shut them.
Repeatedly.
He has learned to pull the chairs out from the kitchen table.
And how to climb up in them to sit down.
And how to use them to climb onto the kitchen table.
He has learned to climb to the top of the playpen where he hovers precariously, unable to get up or down.
He has learned to climb on top of the toilet. I think he has his eye on the top of the cabinet that sits above the commode.
He has learned that the pretty balls on the tree shatter into tiny pieces when you throw them.
Well, it's happened 3 times with 5 casualties so let's hope he has learned!
He has learned how to climb up in the desk chair and attempts to type or use the mouse on the computer.
He has also figured out that he can psyche us out by grabbing the ornaments on the tree, then as we are putting them back on the tree he makes a beeline for the computer.
He sat down this morning and shared LadyBug's reading lesson, imitating every sound for every letter.
So maybe tomorrow will be reading! :)
I feel like this with Chicken Little. Our new thing is screaming out when we don't get our way. Oh, this tests mommy's nerves (and patience..lol). She's also learned to draw in (intentionally) spilled milk. And That the Christmas tree skirt looks better when not around the tree (surprisingly, hasn't bothered the tree itself tho). She's learned that she can go any where she'd like, and if she can't she pleads..."go da-da go". :o) Gotta love them at this stage!! Can't wait to see ya'll Saturday! Love and miss ya'll!!!
ReplyDeleteMama Hen,
ReplyDeleteOh she's just beginning to flex her muscles when it comes to figuring out how to push her Mommy's buttons. :) I can't believe she is big enough for all that though! Love y'all too! (hope Papa Rooster is feeling better!)
Thank you... I had to take off early yesterday to take him to the doctor. You he's SICK when he agrees to see a doctor (lol). I took him to the new clinic across from Wal-Mart in the BIG CITY. They said it's probably a virus. I hope he's feeling better soon. I'd hate for him to miss the birthday party tomorrow!!!
ReplyDeleteOh, I don't imagine he would miss that! :)
ReplyDeleteEveryone seems to have this junk right now. It just has to run it's course.
Isn't it great! It's all their moving that keeps us young (and tired) :-)
ReplyDeleteShana,
ReplyDeleteYou are so right! And every day seems to bring about a new milestone! ;)
