I have had such a busy day! I had an organization bug hit me... I literally worked all day in the girls' room and I am not done. I pulled everything out of their closet and their chest-of-drawers and made a big pile in the middle of the room (which happens to be their bed!). Then I went through all of their clothes and all of their toys, discarding, sorting, finding better ways to store them. It was a true challenge not only because of the sheer magnitude of the job but because I had all 3 of the little ones here to help! I think they are coming off of a Christmas high because they have been grouchy today! Something about all those sweets and presents and twinkling lights. Reality is setting back in! We even had the dreaded " She looked at me!" shriek today. (Ha, I just had this vision of what it would be like in Wal-Mart if all the adult shoppers acted like that...can you imagine the scene? the tug of wars over loaves of bread, chasing each other with the brooms, throwing eggs at each other.) Ok I am way too tired! But anyway organization will prevail in this household! It just has to arrive first!
I know. I have been neglecting this blog. Horribly. That's not the only thing that has been thrown by the wayside lately! It is only for a season though. Pregnancy means you must be patient with yourself and accept that sometimes you must let things slide. That also means that you have to plan in order to conserve your energy. I know if I am going somewhere later today then I don't need to rush around and try to get a lot done in the morning. Priorities must be in order. Although the morning sickness is better it isn't totally gone at this point. Whoever named it that anyway? The main thing I have been dealing with is fatigue. My blog shows it. My laundry shows it. My house shows it. Ack, everywhere shows it! I simply do not have the energy to do the bending up and down required to truly clean up, do laundry, and the vacuuming/sweeping etc. It's quite depressing actually! So I do a little here, do a little there. I manage the necessities such as homeschooling, cooking, ...
YES! I agree that organizing is tiring! This reminds me of all that I have left to do ... I started sorting through toys, books and clothes before Christmas and only managed to get some done in Sophie's room! :)Not to mention that I need to totally resort and organize our closet! :)
